Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Mary Oliver presents a personal selection of her best work in this definitive collection spanning more than five decades of her esteemed literary career. Carefully curated, these 200 plus poems feature Oliver’s work from her very first book of poetry, published in 1963, through her most recent collection, published in 2015. This timeless volume, arranged by Oliver herself, showcases the beloved poet at her best. Within these pages, she provides us with an extraordinary and invaluable collection of her passionate, perceptive, and much-treasured observations of the natural world.

Join us on a journey into poetry about living with the natural world.  The works of Mary Oliver whose observations about nature, but more deeply about life’s joys and sorrows, have captivated generations worldwide.  As an experienced yoga teacher and a trained outdoor meditation guide, we are excited to share incites we have learned from their respective disciplines.

On Friday, September 27th and Friday, October 11th, the book club will meet at the Cambridge Springs Public Library from 3:00 to 4:00 pm to discuss the book.  To integrate these teachings fully, an off-site, outdoor experience will be included on Friday, October 25th from 4:00 to 5:15 pm at the newly dedicated Northwestern REC Community Forest, owned and operated by the Foundation for Sustainable Forests. www.foundationforsustainableforests.org
